LMV is experienced in handling legal matters in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. Because of our extensive multi-cultural skills, we are perfectly at ease in addressing English Common Law and European Civil Law issues.

LMV was established in 1993 in Washington, D.C. and San Juan, Puerto Rico by its name partners: Armando Lasa-Ferrer (1937-2011), Antonio Monroig and Michael Veve.   All three founding partners shared common roots: native-born Puerto Ricans who studied law in Puerto Rico and became experienced and successful practicing members of the Puerto Rican bar. 

Our Washington, D.C., office is strategically positioned in the Nation’s capital and allows us to serve our international and domestic clients with federal regulatory compliance advice, representation in government enforcement actions and government relations services.  We are skilled in organizing and running congressional, executive and legislative issue campaigns at the local, state and federal levels.  We also handle corporate matters, international business transactions, complex commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Our Northern Virginia office is located in Fairfax County and is strategically situated near the rapidly growing  high tech corridor between Tysons Corner, VA and Reston, VA-Dulles Airport on Metro's Silver Line.   At this office, the firm advises clients in the formation and structuring of corporations, limited liability companies, joint ventures and strategic alliances.  The firm is also equipped to assist clients with technology matters, intellectual property, and government compliance issues associated with technology matters, as well as providing counseling to small businesses and minority owned companies in government contracting matters and minority status certifications.

Our affiliated office in Puerto Rico is located in the capital city of San Juan.  LMV provides its business clients with legal representation in Puerto Rico, a U.S. financial and manufacturing gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean.  The firm advises companies on how to establish and conduct business in Puerto Rico.  LMV’s San Juan office also counsels clients in  the application of local laws and regulations and provides representation in civil litigation matters before the federal and state courts in Puerto Rico.
